Meaning of Christmas is to spread love and happiness

SBS Turkish listener and Syriac Christian George Alkan explains what Christmas means. Alkan, who says it’s not necessary to be a Christian to celebrate the day, says the aim is come together with family and friends. “Spreading love and happiness is what makes this day special, not the richness of the table,” Alkan said.
