Prime Minister Scott Morrison demands Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to take back his “reckless” and “offensive” comments about ANZACS. In a campaign speech where he showed the footage of the Christchurch mosque shooting last Friday that killed 50 people, Erdoğan said any visitors with anti-Muslim views “would be sent back in coffins like their grandfathers", referencing allied casualties during the his campaign. Erdoğan’s comments elicited a swift response from the Australian prime minister. Morrison said he rejected the excuses made by the Turkish ambassador to Canberra. (AUDIO IN TURKISH)
