Moves to abolish road safety watchdog slammed

The main union representing truck drivers in the country has criticised the Turnbull government's plans to abolish the road safety watchdog. Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has pledged that if re-elected, the coalition government will get rid of the Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal. The decision follows anger at new minimum pay rates for so-called owner-truck drivers. We have interviewed with the truck owner driver Mustafa Ozdemir.
