Australia is experiencing an "epidemic" of fatal violence against women, according to an organisation that keeps a tally of these deaths. According to Counting Dead Women Australia, the 2018 toll stands at 63 women. The total number in 2017 was 53. The fact is more shocking in Turkey. 363 women are killed by the hands of someone who says they love them, in the first 10 months of 2018. We cover domestic violence and "femicides" at Avustralia as well as Turkey.
