Thousands return after Syrian city of Manbij liberated from IS

Thousands of displaced residents are returning to the northern Syrian city of Manbij after it was recaptured from self-proclaimed Islamic State by Kurdish and Arab fighters back by the United States. The city had been the main transit point for IS from its de facto capital city, Raqqa, through to Europe. It's thought the city will now be used as a crucial staging point for an attack on Raqqa in the coming months. But there are questions over the stability of the region if and when IS is defeated.
