Turks see disability as taboo, fail to apply for NDIS

Due to the Turkish community's perception of disability as a taboo subject, there were very few who apply for the services provided by the NDIS, says Secil Bas from the Starlight Homecare in Melbourne. She told SBS Turkish that no matter how many information sessions they held to abstract Turks who qualify for NDIS, there was very little interest from the community. (AUDIO IN TURKISH)
