How police plan to protect Sydney on New Year's Eve

A huge police presence will be on hand to respond to any high-risk situation if it were to unfold on New Year's Eve in Sydney. Riot squad officers will be armed with semi-automatic firearms and concrete bollards and barriers will be in place in an increased effort to keep the public safe.
