‘Substantial’ rain expected across southern Australia

Forecasters have warned of a substantial “rain event” over the coming days as a cold front barrels across the Great Australian Bight towards South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania. Adelaide and Melbourne could both see more than 20 mm of rain.
