On Saturday 14 January 2017, the National Shrine in Melbourne will host the anniversary of their heroic Tran Van Ba sacrificed in Vietnam in 1985.


At the first Tet in 1975, Tran Van Ba who was studying in France, ​​has hosted the National Student, at the Palais de la Mutualité Hall in Paris, a theme night with my New Year here, continued to uphold the banner of the National Yellow Color.

 

In 1980 he penetrated to Vietnam through Thailand.

 

Mr. Tran Van Ba, born 1945, was arrested the night of September 11, 1984 by communist authorities in the province of Ca Mau, Minh Hai. On December 18, the People's Court handling 21 coup plot suspects against the government in Saigon Opera House.

He was sentenced to death along with four other suspects, and was brought executions on January 8, 1985.
