Continuing nights of air strikes in Ghouta, the rebel-held enclave within Syria's capital Damascus, have killed at least 250 people in just 48 hours.


Pro-government forces with heavy weaponry have surrounded Ghouta, and the United Nations says it is deeply concerned about the fate of hundreds of thousands of civilians.
