A 100-year-old French colonial-style building as Thuong Tho Palace was being demolished to make room for the new headquarters of the City People's Committee.

A 100-year-old French colonial-style building as Thuong Tho Palace was being demolished to make room for the new headquarters of the City People's Committee.


The building is located at 59-61 Ly Tu Trong, the old Gia Long street, the second oldest architecture, after the Saigon Archbishop on Vo Van Tan Street or Tran Qui Cap street.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Hau, Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam History Science Association, told SBS Vietnamese that when a historic building was destroyed.
