Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, a prominent female artist, said she had been planning to leave the party for a long time, especially through land appeals and petitions.
In particular, in 2013, she refused to file a certificate of merit from Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, who was living in Kien Giang with her in denouncing corrupt corruption.
She left the Communist Party of Vietnam after years of concern, in an interview with SBS Vietnam.
