New Bishop Nguyen van Long

On May 5, 2016, the Episcopal Conference Australia has issued a press release about the Pope appointed Bishop Vincent Long Van Nguyen as Bishop of the diocese of Parramatta.

Bishop Long, 55, of Franciscan Monastery Institute, previously the Assistant Bishop of the Archdiocese of Melbourne.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Truc, chairman of the Union Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne, gave more details.
