On the afternoon of July 6, 1974, Father JB Nguyen Dinh Thuc came to Van Thai parish in Song Ngoc parish to distribute rice to his relatives, then at night at 22:30 a group of people dragged the parishioners, thretened to burn their house and smash the house of the lay faithful.
