World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that rubella or rubella infection has been eradicated in Australia.


Rubella is a viral infection and is contagious to others through respiratory or contact.

The disease is not dangerous for children and adults, but if pregnant women in the first three months are very dangerous.

The first trimester of pregnancy is the development of the fetus and affects the organs of the fetus. If the virus is present in the fetus, the virus can pass from the mother to the baby through the placenta and cause birth defects. .
