Trước sự kiện đa văn hóa đầy năng động Active Program, bà Thị trưởng Cúc Lâm trong cuộc phỏng vấn với SBS đã nêu bật hiệu quả của các chương trình diễn ra thường niên từ năm 2014.
Theo bà Cúc Lâm, số người tham dự sự kiện trong các năm trước trung bình là khoảng 15,000 người và năm nay ước tính con số sẽ còn tăng thêm.
Sự kiện Get Active Expo quy tụ nhiều môn thể thao, khiêu vũ và hoạt động xã hội vốn rất quen thuộc với mọi người tại địa phương.
Đặc biệt, đêm bế mạc Active Expo sẽ có chiếu phim ngoài trời miễn phí ở bờ sống Yarra, dự kiến sẽ thu hút hàng ngàn khán giả đến xem.

2018 Get Active! Expo
The Maribyrnong Get Active! Expo is a COMPLETELY FREE four-and-a-half week program designed to showcase a range of sport, recreation and wellbeing opportunities available throughout the municipality. For registering, you will receive a FREE 10-visit pass to Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre and/or RecWest Footscray. All participants will also receive a FREE drink bottle, cap or stress ball.
