After much speculation on whether the band will stay with YG or leave, it’s been decided that BIGBANG will stay with their current agency.

It seems that loyalty won out , as the tie between G-Dragon and Yang Hyun-suk (head of YG) go back some 15 years. At a previous interview, BIGBANG has said that they’d be happy to spend 20 years with YG.

Meanwhile Yang has also expressed his fondness for the boys time and time again.

“Some of them have spent more than half their lives with YG,” Yang said at an interview earlier.

Leading up to re-signing, Yang said that even if the boys went their separate ways he’d support them no matter what.

“The only thing I want for BIGBANG is for them to be a long-lasting group, and I’d do what I can to help no matter what.”
