"I see your future and it's brighter than a unicorn jumping over a rainbow made of glitter."

Lisa Frank, the brain behind the most aggressively colourful designs you plastered your schoolbooks with in the '90s, is back.

Well, not the actual Lisa Frank, but the ~spirit~ of Lisa Frank has returned with these new tarot cards that say to the spirits around you "hey, I'd like to know my future, but I'm also super into kittens and nostalgia".

The deck, created by artist Ariel Hart, features the tween-dream rainbow aesthetic of Lisa Frank's original designs, like bananas in sunglasses, golden puppies and neon cheetahs, and we can only imagine that the cards can help ease the pain of bad news.

About to get dumped? Don't worry, a white kitten is here to ease that pain. Getting sick? A smiling moon will make you feel better. Dying? What better way to find out than from a horse with a glorious, rainbow mane? ***

Hart was inspired to create the deck after visiting the Hello Kitty exhibit at the Japanese American Nation Museum in Los Angeles, and told the Huffington Post that she was “especially passionate about branding as it transitions into being a lifestyle."

“Lisa Frank is a great example of a brand that was likely intended for young people that inadvertently found a way to stick with them for the rest of their lives.”

The tarot deck is free and can be printed in full here. Honestly, what could be better than that?
