In case you haven't heard, BTS have just released their new album "WINGS" and it has been nothing short of a massive success already, ranking No.1 on iTunes in 23 countries (so far).
In a recent press conference for the release of "WINGS", BTS talked about a variety of subjects, including the album's meaning, the lead-up to its release, some of the work the group put in, and their hopes for it this time around.
Rap Monster: "The harder a temptation is to resist, the more you think about it and vacillate. That uncertainty is part of the process of growing. [Blood Sweat & Tears] is a song that shows how one thinks, chooses, and grows.”
Suga: “The song relays an optimistic determination to use our wings to go far, even if we are met with temptations in life.”
Jimin: "I couldn't sleep well because I was nervous. All the members and I were together until the moment of the release; I was very nervous...Probably because of the nerves, I couldn't fall asleep easily. I am happy to know that many people awaited our comeback...Please give us a lot of love."
J-Hope: "I had the luxury of doing 2 solo tracks on this album. I got the baton after Rap Monster and Suga, who did the intro track for the previous albums. I also worked hard on the choreography because it was very high-level this time. I was happy to get compliments from the choreographer; I knew that my 'blood, sweat, and tears' weren't for nothing.
We released the medley highlights because the album was released, but everyone was still excited for it. I am so happy. I love it."
V: "I wish that our 2nd studio album would received the love of fans. Also, I want to get number 1 on a music program soon. A personal desire and wish is that we reach Billboard′s Hot 100. Finally, I want to win grand prize at a year end awards ceremony once."
Jimin: "As V stated, I want to show our performance through a music program. We are preparing a fan meeting in November to meet our fans. ′Hwarang: The Beginning′ the drama that V has been filming, will air in December. Please look forward to it. There are also many award ceremonies at the end of the year, so please look forward to our presence."
At the way "WINGS" is soaring on the music charts so far, the sky is the limit for BTS!
