2NE1's CL is currently on her solo "Hello Bi+ches" tour in America, and while everything has generally been going well so far, a controversial incident took place during her recent November 4 Los Angeles tour stop.

During her Los Angeles performance, CL performed an unedited version of 2NE1's controversial track "MTBD", which drew renewed criticisms from the Muslim community.

For those who are unaware, the original, unedited version of "MTBD" featured verses from the Quran being read in the background, something that drew heavy criticism from the Muslim community when the song was released first released in 2014. While YG Entertainment ultimately re-released the song with the controversial verse removed, it appears that the unedited version of "MTBD" somehow made its way into CL's setlist on November 4.

After correcting the issue for her subsequent Dallas show, CL has now also posted up an apology for performing the unedited version of "MTBD" and provided an explanation of how this incident came to be.
