2016 saw the release of some great music throughout the year, but one of the big highlights was EXO's third studio album "EX'ACT". With huge singles like "Monster" and "Lotto" as well as countless awards under its belt,"EX'ACT" was one of last year's most popular records and now the album has hit a new sales milestone in Korea.
Just recently, Paul "Marz" Thompson, one of the producers/musicians who worked on "EX'ACT," posted up a picture on Instagram of a South Korean platinum certification award for the album. In addition to the picture, Thompson also wrote a heartfelt message thanking all those who helped him kickstart his career in the industry, as well as giving a shout out to all the EXO members.
For those who are unaware, albums receive certification awards whenever a sales milestone and a South Korean. platinum certification is given to those albums that have sold over a million copies.
Not only does this mean "EX'ACT" has sold over 1 million copies, this is EXO's third studio album to hit such a big milestone.
