BTS made their comeback just last week with the release of their "WINGS" extension album and their new single "Spring Day", but the boys have already made a big splash on the Billboard music charts.
For the week of March 4, BTS have managed to crack Billboard's Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart with "Spring Day", coming in at No.15. This is a particularly impressive feat as not only have BTS not participated in any American promotions for the all-Korean "Spring Day", the song was released during a highly competitive week in which the 2017 Grammy Awards took place.
In addition to the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, BTS have also managed to land on 3 other Billboard charts.
"WINGS: You Never Walk Alone" has managed to debut at No.61 on the Billboard 200, extending BTS' record as the K-pop group with the most entries on the chart. This impressive debut has also translated to a huge showing on the Billboard World Albums Chart for the week of March 4, managing to come in at No.1.
Finally, BTS' new songs have all been huge hits in both Asian and Western countries, and this has translated to an impressive showing on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart. For the week of March 4, "Spring Day" has managed to debut at No.1, putting it ahead of "Not Today" at No.2, "Supplementary Story: You'll Never Walk Alone" at No.3, and "Outro: Wings" at No.4.
BTS' achievements were so impressive that Big Hit Entertainment CEO Bang Si Hyuk tweet out his own kudos to the group:
A huge congrats to BTS to their big Billboard achievements! to celebrate, let's re-watch their awesome "Spring Day" MV again:
