Get ready to meet what may be the first ever All-American K-pop group!
Going by the name EXP EDITION, the group was created as a thesis project by Columbia graduate student Bora Kim, Karin Kuroda, and Samantha Shao. Comprising of four male members hailing from New York City, the group moved to South Korea two years ago in order to prepare for their debut. As for the purpose of the group, Kim explains that EXP EDITION aims to explore gender, sexuality, and culture within the K-pop industry, albeit from a more outside looking in perspective.
After raising the funds necessary on Kickstarter, EXP EDITION have now dropped their first single and MV, titled "Feel Like This." The single embraces a synthpop sound that is perfectly suited for the dance floor, and complementing the song is the MV, which features each of the four group members getting up to shenanigans in a series of locations.
