There have been countless anime classics released ever since the genre first came into existence many years ago, and to figure out which anime series are the best of all time, Japan's largest public broadcasting company decided to hold a poll in which fans could vote on their favourite anime.

In this new poll from NHK, the results turned out to be quite surprising, with "Love Live!" and "Tiger & Bunny" proving to be fan favourites, while some all-time classics such as "Neon Genesis Evangelion" and "Cowboy Bebop" were found lower on the list.
