Following BTS' triumphant visit to the U.S, where they managed to pick up an award at the Billboard Music Awards, the question of breaking into the U.S. market soon became a hot topic among everyone. However, the boys have a short and simple answer in regards to their plans on the U.S music scene.
At a recent press conference, the aforementioned question was asked and Rap Monster quickly stated BTS doesn't actually want to enter the American music market, saying that the group are "really happy" to be so well received in America but the boys intend on continuing to make songs for their fans. The BTS leader continued by saying that BTS will continue rapping and singing in Korean as it is the "best way [BTS] know how to communicate."
Having said that though, Jimin did say that he hopes BTS will be back at the BBMAs next year and that the group will be able to perform to their fans in Korean.
In another interesting tidbit from the press conference, Suga revealed that BTS managed to catch up with The Chainsmokers and to be patient because something could be coming in the future.
