It goes without saying that EXO-Ls are among the most dedicated K-pop fandoms out there, and it appears that their love of EXO goes beyond the group and each of the boys.
According to a new report, Xiumin's fanclub have recently donated approximately 7 million Korean won (about $AUD8,200) to the Global Multicultural Welfare Association through the Naver online donation portal, Happy Bean. As for where this large donation is going towards, the money will be used to assist hearing impaired children with the purchase of hearing aids.
A spokesperson for the Global Multicultural Welfare Association stated that the 7 million Won donation will be able to support 10 children and expressed deep thanks to Xiumin's fan club.
This is not the first time that fan donations have been made under Xiumin's name. From 2014 to 2016, Xiumin's fanclub "Xiumin Palace" have been making regular donations to various organisations, totaling approximately 200 million Korean won (approx. $AUD234,000) over the past 2 years.
Overseas Xiumin fans are also in on the donation train, with Japanese fan club "Mini Freezer" making donations under Xiumin's name to the Japanese Red Cross organisation for EXO's 5th anniversary.
We have only one thing to say about this - EXO-Ls and Xiumin fans are awesome!
