BTS recently held two concerts in Sapporo as part of the Japanese leg of their "WINGS" tour, but fans may have noticed Rap Monster not performing any of the group's choreography during the shows. That's because the BTS leader unfortunately suffered a minor injury just before he concerts, and doctors told him not to do any dancing.
In a new message from Big Hit Entertainment, the company revealed that Rap Monster had accidentally hit his foot on some furniture when he was resting before BTS' Sapporo concerts, injuring his little right toe. Other than his stubbed toe, Rap Monster is perfectly fine but doctors recommended that he refrain from any physical activity until his toe is better, hence the lack of dancing.
Here's a translation of Big Hit's message:
“Hello, this is Big Hit Entertainment.
“We write to inform you that BTS member Rap Monster will not be able to participate in the choreography at the Sapporo concerts on their Japan tour.
“On June 29, Rap Monster was resting at their lodgings in the Sapporo area when he hit his foot on the corner of a piece of furniture in his room, and injured the little toe on his right foot. He immediately received emergency treatment at a local hospital, but he was told by the physician that he should refrain from activity that would cause pain or strain because his toenail is lifted.
“He has no injuries other than the one on his toe, and his health is good overall. However, it has been decided that he will not be participating in the choreography at the concerts in order to follow the advice of the physician, who said it would be best for him to not dance in order to allow the injury to heal.
“Therefore, the six members (without Rap Monster) will be performing the choreography as usual at the concerts on July 1 and 2 in Sapporo, and Rap Monster will be on stage with them too and do his best to perform.
“We sincerely apologize for worrying all the fans who have been waiting for BTS’ Sapporo concerts, and we’ll due our best to ensure that the BTS members can wrap up their Wings Tour without any issues.
“From Big Hit Entertainment.”
Get better soon, Rap Monster, and be careful of the furniture in the future!
