BTS earned much praise for their performance of "DNA" at last night's 2017 American Music Awards, and one organisation giving the boys a thumbs up is none other than the Guinness World Records!
The renowned record-keeping organisation shared a new tweet about BTS just a few hours ago, writing "Congrats to [BTS] on a stellar performance at last night's AMAs!" before pointing out that BTS had actually made it into the 2018 edition of Guinness World Records.
The world record Guinness are referring to is in the "Twitter Engagements" section of the record book, where BTS scored the record for the most Twitter retweets for a male music group with 152,112 retweets. These numbers are correct as of May 8, 2017 according to Guinness. Having said that, it is more than likely that BTS' number of retweets has since grown even higher since then, especially after their AMAs performance.
Needless to say, many ARMYs were stoked to see BTS make it into the Guinness Book of World Records 2018 and some decided to share images of the boys' achievement on Twitter:
Congrats BTS on yet another achievement! At this rate, they're going to need an entire book dedicate just to the boys!
