Yonhap has reported that South Korean actor, and beloved star, Kim Joo-hyuk died in a car accident in Seoul on Monday.
Yonhap reports that the accident happened at around 4:30 pm, when his car overturned and caught on fire. He was 45 years old.
Variety states that it was reported by JTBC that Kim's car crashed and flipped, colliding with another car. He was not breathing when firefighters pulled him from the wreck.
The famous actor debuted in 1998 on the Seoul Broadcasting System, and went on to star in many movies and TV shows.
Kim was known for his roles in many romantic comedies such as Singles, When Romance Meets Destiny and My Wife Got Married.
He most recently starred as the villain in Confidential Assignment and in The Tooth and The Nail.
