Following Jongyhun's death on December 18, an investigation into the circumstances of the SHINee singer's passing was launched by the police. After two days of investigating, the official findings have been released.
According to News1, a source from the Gangnam police reportedly stated that the results of their investigation concluded that Jonghyun had died by suicide. The police further stated that an autopsy won't be performed as per Jonghyun's family's wishes, and that the investigation will be officially closed after one final interview with Jonghyun's family.
Jonghyun's funeral will reportedly be held as quietly as possible as per his family's wishes, but fans wishing to pay their final respects to the SHINee singer will be able to do so at the Asan Medical Centre in Seoul starting at 12PM (KST).
