According to the official Ghibli Museum website, Hayao Miyazaki’s new short film Boro the Caterpillar (Kemushi no Boro) will begin screening at the museum on March 21.

Miyazaki has been working on the short since directing his eleventh feature film The Wind Rises in 2015. According to Studio Ghibli Producer Toshio Suzuki, as reported by Crunchyroll, Boro the Caterpillar was supposed to be completed in 2017 but was delayed due to Miyazaki beginning work on his final feature film, How Do You Live? (Kimitachi wa Dou Irui ka?).

Boro the Caterpillar follows the journey of a young caterpillar as he hatches from an egg and explores the world below. It's the tenth original short film to be exclusively screened at the Studio Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Japan.

As a spokesperson for the museum further explained, Miyazaki and the team completed the 14-minute long short yesterday with ticket sales available to purchase from February 10.
