EXO's Suho has upset fans for a comment he allegedly made during his fellow member Sehun's Instagram live.

During the stream, Sehun asked Suho to come make faces at the camera to use the filters. Suho made a couple of attempts, then apparently said: "It's weird. People will think I'm a mentally ill patient".

Korean fans took to Twitter and YouTube to make their feelings known, suggesting Suho should have been more cautious in his wording and that he'd hurt his fans who suffer from mental health issues. They were using the hashtag #엑소_수호_비하발언_사과해, translating to "EXO Suho apologise for your discriminatory comment".

"It's true that Suho's mental illness comment is discriminatory and deserves criticism, but why is that a reason for EXO to fail?"

"Wow fans find it cute even if they make comments about the mentally ill"

"This group never has a quiet day".
