This week on The Anime Show, Joey and Aki are talking about some of the biggest YouTubers in Japan and share some of their favourites.

Check out who they recommend watching: are you a fan of these YouTubers already?

1. Hajime

He's the Japanese YouTuber with the most subscribers, with 6.2 million followers.

2. Hikakin

He started as a beatboxer and now makes funny videos. As is the case with a lot of Japanese comedy YouTubers, his stuff can be pretty over the top, and schoolkids are his main audience.

3. Kinoshita Yuka

She's a Japanese woman who does food challenges and intense Mukbangs

4. Sushiramen Riku

He does experiments in what's a combination of Mythbusters meets Jackass

5. PDR

Half-Japanese, half-British, he plays with language and also shares his experiences of being biracial in Japan.

6. Mizutamari Bond

Similar to Hajime, this YouTuber duo carry out investigations and have fun with conspiracy theories

Listen to The Anime Show podcast to hear more about their fave Japanese YouTubers. The duo are looking for anime YouTuber suggestions too!
