BTS are known to use literature as inspiration for their songs and music videos, and their latest literary muse has now become a bestseller in Korea.

Into The Magic Shop: A Neurosurgeon's Quest to Discover the Mysteries of the Brain and the Secrets of the Heart by James R Doty is the book that inspired "Magic Shop", the motif that appears throughout Love Yourself: Tear and specifically on the track by the same name produced by Jungkook.

Since the album's release, the book has risen on Korean book store Aladin's weekly best selling list to the No.2 spot!

James R Doty's memoir is about the lessons he learned from a woman who he met in a magic shop, one of which was to open his heart. The BTS song "Magic Shop" follows a similar theme, relating it to their fans.

The author even reached out to thank BTS via Twitter

Guess it's time to get reading!
