Big Hit Entertainment has responded to fans concerns regarding new death threats made against BTS' Jimin.

The threat came from a recent Instagram post where a person stated a plan to shoot Jimin at BTS' concert in Los Angeles on September 5.

Big Hit have since stated that they are aware of the threats, saying:

"Regardless of the authenticity of these threats, we plan to do our utmost and take all necessary measures in responding to actions that may threaten the safety of the members. In the past as well, we made thorough preparations, and the matter was resolved without any actual incident. We plan to prepare while keeping a close eye on the situation".

Jimin has been the subject of death threats twice before, ahead of BTS concerts in the US in 2017 and 2018.

BTS will begin their Love Yourself world tour on August 25 in Seoul before going to the US, Canada and Europe.
