Earlier today it was reported that Cube Entertainment had chosen to remove HyunA and PENTAGON's E'Dawn from the agency, following the couple revealing their two-year relationship to the public recently.
According to a new report from Star News, Cube Entertainment have changed their stance, saying that the removal of the two idols is not definite and that they are in ongoing discussions about their futures with the agency.
It remains to be seen whether this will ultimately change the decision for the artists to stay with Cube Entertainment.
News of the idols' removal from the agency sparked international conversation, with HyunA and CUBE trending worldwide on Twitter, and Cube Entertainment's stocks dropping throughout the day.
Cube Entertainment have announced that HyunA and PENTAGON's E'Dawn have been kicked out of the agency.
The two idols have withdrawn from the public since announcing they had been in a relationship for over two years.
Cube Entertainment issued a statement saying:
"This is Cube Entertainment.
Cube Entertainment has officially decided to remove our artists HyunA and E'Dawn from the label.
When managing our artists, the company has worked with faith and trust in each other as the main priority.
After numerous discussions, it is with great pain that we have come to the conclusion that it will prove difficult for us to rebuild the broken loyalty and trust between these two artists, HyunA and E'Dawn; so their removal has been decided.
We sincerely thank fans who have been with the two artists all this time.
The two idols have been met with harsh criticism from Korean fans since revealing their relationship, and E'Dawn had not been participating in PENTAGON's recent promotions.
