SM Entertainment has donated ₩900 million (approximately AUD1.1 million) to the Shiny Foundation. The foundation was created by the late SHINee member Jonghyun's mother, Lee Eun Kyung.

The foundation plans to help youths looking to develop in the performing arts, especially those without agencies and working with schools to provide scholarships.

They also will focus on providing mental health support for those who may need it, with psychological consultations and more.

Jonghyun's mother has also put all the royalties from Jonghyun's music into running the foundation, totalling ₩2,309,949,090 (approximately AUD2.87 million).
