NCT's Chinese unit has finally been revealed! WayV features seven members and will debut in China in January 2019.

Four of the members will be familiar to NCT fans, with Kun, WinWin, Ten and Lucas being joined by SM Rookies Xiao Jun, YangYang and Hendery

The group will promote both in and outside of China and will make their debut through Label V, the Chinese agency with whom SM is in a joint partnership.

They're already on Twitter, Instagram and Weibo so get following! Here's some facts about each member to prepare you for choosing a bias!

The oldest member of WayV, he technically made his visual debut with NCT in 2018 but he was originally a featured vocal on the Chinese version of "Without You" in 2016. Kun is from Fujian, China, and has been with SM Entertainment since July 2015.

Born in Bangkok, Thailand, Ten is of Chinese descent and goes by the Chinese name Li Yong Qin. He joined SM Entertainment through global auditions in 2013 and debuted with NCT U in 2016. He has also released solo music in both Korean and English, and he's known as the ace dancer of NCT.

The Chinese idol joined SM in 2015 and debuted with NCT 127 in 2016. He's also part of sub-unit NCT U. Despite being part of NCT since its inception, his fans have often complained that he doesn't get enough screen or vocal time - something that'll hopefully change with WayV!

A newer member of NCT, having debuted with NCT U in 2018, Lucas is half-Chinese and half-Thai. Before being in NCT, he appeared in Ten's "Dream in a Dream" music video, and he even thought he'd debut in NCT Dream given he fit the age bracket. 2018 also saw him debut as a model, walking the runway for Korean fashion house Kye during Seoul Fashion Week.

Xiao Jun

Born in Guangdong, China, the 1999 liner was introduced as an SM Rookie in July 2018. He's a talented multi-instrumentalist, playing the ukulele, piano, guitar and drums. He's also showed his music skills on X-Fire, a Chinese survival show.

Another 1999 liner, Hendery is from Macau and was introduced alongside Xiao Jun and Yangyang as an SM Rookie in 2018.

The maknae of WayV at the age of 18, YangYang is from Dusseldorf, Germany, and is of Chinese ethnicity. He can speak a whole range of languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, German, Korean and English, and he's just graduated from SM Rookies along with Hendery and Xiao Jun!
