American tv studio CBS will be working on adaptation of Korean drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.

To be titled Strong Girl, the adaptation is written by Melissa Scrivner-Love (Fear the Walking Dead) and will star wrestler, MMA fighter and actor Ronda Rousey in the title role. Rousey is also set to be an executive producer on the show.

The American version's lead is named Rayna, who is a former war photographer who discovers she is indestructible and may be the strongest woman in the world. After her Special Operatives fiance leaves her because of her powers, she's hired by a billionaire named Oliver as his bodyguard.

There's no release date yet as the project has just gone into development, but it will eventually air on American network The CW.

As a reminder, here's a trailer to the original Korean show.
