BLACKPINK has broken another record!

YouTube has confirmed that the music video for "Kill This Love" has broken the record for most-watched in its first 24 hours, with 56.7 million views. The YG Entertainment girl group has beaten the previous record set by Ariana Grande's "Thank U, Next", which accumulated 55.4 million views in its first day of release.

This makes BLACKPINK one of the few female artists to have more than one of the biggest 24 hour debuts in YouTube history, with their previous release "DDU-DU DDU-DU" hitting 36.2 million views back when it was released.

"Kill This Love" has also already broken the record for 100 million views, with the song already surpassing 131 million! The music video is also trending at No.5 on YouTube. So calling it a hit would probably be a massive understatement.

Congratulations to BLACKPINK and BLINKS!
