EXO's Chanyeol has filed a police report after two Chinese sasaengs attempted to breaking into his workspace.

In news that was revealed on June 21, the police were contacted in April after the pair tried to break into an officetel that belongs to Chanyeol, where he works on music with other staff. There was a woman inside the officetel at the time - a crew member who works on music there - who filmed the attempted break-in and sent it to Chanyeol, who then reported it to police.

SM Entertainment confirmed that the idol has filed the report after repeated incidents involving sasaengs trying to break into the space. The agency added, "As violations of privacy that cross the line cause severe pain and damage to our artists, we ask people to refrain from doing so".

EXO have been victims of sasaeng behaviour from debut through to present times. Recently member Kai pointed out sasaengs who were waiting in a parking lot during a livestream, and Baekhyun has frequently had his Instagram Lives interrupted by sasaengs calling him. The members have also dealt with violations of their privacy including stalking, hidden cameras and encroaching on personal space.
