K-pop idol Som Hye In, who was a contestant on music survival show Idol School has come out via social media.

She recently posted pictures on her Instagram with her girlfriend, with captions like "chu chu my girlfriend" and "my lovely girl".

Since then she's confirmed that she is in a relationship with a woman, with a photo posted to her Instagram stories from a news article speculating on her sexuality. In the post she said, "Yes, it's true that I came out. I'm in a same-sex relationship".

She also thanked fans for their concern and let them know she's doing well.

Som Hye In left Idol School in 2017 due to health concerns. In May 2019, she released her first solo single titled "Mini Radio".
