JYP Entertainment has confirmed that TWICE's Mina has been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder.

In a statement shared on August 27, the agency confirmed that after checking with several doctors, Mina's current health condition has been diagnosed as anxiety disorder, with the idol struggling with continuous and intermittent periods of anxiety.

The company also confirmed Mina's future activities with TWICE will be decided one-by-one as they come up.

JYP wrote: "Mina's participation in scheduled activities is being decided through discussion with Mina herself and the members... Mina's participation in activities has to be decided entirely based on the objective state of Mina's health, so we ask for fans' understanding on decisions inevitably being partially selective".

The agency assured they will focus on helping Mina's recovery, and asked fans for their support. JYP first announced Mina's mental health concerns when she was unable to perform in TWICE's world tour in July.

TWICE have announced plans to make a comeback in September.
