BTS has charted high on the Australian music charts again!

The seven-member K-pop group's pre-release single "Black Swan", which was released on Friday 17 January, has debuted on the ARIA Digital Tracks Chart at No.10!  The success of "Black Swan" is particularly impressive given it has not been played on mainstream radio or been specifically promoted in Australia.

The song, taken from their upcoming album MAP OF THE SOUL: 7, has over 25.9 million views on YouTube since release. It has also entered US Billboard's Hot 100 at No.57.

This isn't BTS' first time on the ARIA charts: the group made history with Map of the Soul: Persona in 2019, when it debuted at No.1 on the ARIA Albums Chart becoming the first-ever release sung in an Asian language to reach the top of the charts.

BTS' best-performing track in Australia thus far is 2019's "Boy With Luv", which was certified ARIA Gold in June 2019. Their other Gold-certified tracks include "DNA", "Fake Love" and "Mic Drop ft. Desiigner (Steve Aoki Remix)".

BTS will release MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 on February 21 globally.
