BTS has set a new YouTube music video record, and they did it in less than 10 minutes!

BTS debuted the official music video for new single "ON", taken from Map of the Soul: 7, on February 28 at midnight Korean time.

The music video was shared through YouTube premiere, where it is shown live first before appearing in YouTube's search. Now it's been revealed that BTS set a new record for the number of people to tune into a YouTube premiere!

"ON" had 1.5 million people watching at the same time as it was shown live for the first time - that's 500,000 more viewers than the previous record to exist. It was confirmed by YouTube's Head of Culture and Trends that it's a new record!

Six hours in, BTS' "ON" is currently on 21.1 million views and we anticipate it getting even higher! Watch the MV below.
