K-pop girl group Red Velvet members Irene and Seulgi will be debuting as a sub-unit!

The first sub-unit for Red Velvet, the pair are preparing their debut at the moment. SM Entertainment has confirmed the news, saying Irene and Seulgi are working on their first unit album, and that the release date will be announced once the album is finalised.

Red Velvet debuted in 2014, and while members have released songs as soloists for K-drama OSTs, as featured artists and unofficially via their social media channels, this is the first official unit from the girl group.

We can't wait to hear what they're working on!
