Jellyfish Entertainment has issued a statement regarding VIXX's Hongbin and his future plans.

The statement addresses the idol's promotions following controversy surrounding his February Twitch stream when he spoke about various idol groups. The idol apologised afterwards, as did the agency, however Jellyfish Entertainment has now confirmed that Hongbin will no longer stream on Twitch.

The statement read: "Regarding Hongbin's future activities, we have decided after discussion with him, that the Twitch streams will be discontinued. In addition, his activities as a celebrity will also be put on hold for the time being, and we will take some time as we prepare so that he can see fans once again".

Jellyfish Entertainment also stated that they are currently speaking with legal representatives regarding malicious comments towards VIXX, and that there will be no leniency in taking legal action against those who post or spread defamatory comments.
