TWICE's Jeongyeon has spoken with fans directly about her neck injury which has caused her to struggle with the most recent comeback.

In a V Live broadcast, Jeongyeon answered a fan's question about her neck, after it had become apparent to fans that she was wearing pain relief patches. She confirmed that while filming the "MORE&MORE" music video, she had felt a numbness in her neck that went up to her ear. After visiting a specialist hospital, she was diagnosed with a herniated disc in her neck.

She explained that due to this happening a week before the comeback, she wasn't really able to practice as much as she would've liked, as she had to have a procedure done in hospital for her injury.

Fans recently trended hashtags for Jeongyeon on Twitter, after they noticed that her individual fancams for performances on music shows had not been uploaded alongside other members. She addressed the issue, saying that she hated the thought of showcasing an imperfect performance due to her inability to practice, and she'd asked her company to tell networks not to film fancams of her.

She assured fans that she's doing much better now, and is working hard to recover.
