Antonis earned a national call-up on the back of his strong start to the campaign and was part of the Socceroos' triumphant Asian Cup squad, though he didn't have any game time.
Having struggled with a knee injury since his return from the January tournament, the 21-year-old midfielder has not had a chance to impress in recent months.
The injury ruled him out of joining Australia U-23 in March as it kicked off its Rio 2016 Olympic qualifying campaign.
He made his long-awaited comeback in Sydney's 4-1 semi-final thumping over Adelaide last week, and says he'll be out to make sure he doesn't drop off the Socceroos radar when he faces Melbourne Victory in Sunday's title decider at AAMI Park.
"Ange is watching all the time to see how the boys are playing," he said.
"It's the last game of the season so we'll go out there fighting and both teams will be going at each other.
"I'm really excited to play and I'm gong to give it my best."
Antonis managed 30 minutes last week, coming on as a substitute for marquee striker Marc Janko.
He says he's itching to get game time in the biggest match of the season and while he's unlikely to start, he'll just be happy to get on the pitch.
"It's the grand final so of course you'd do anything to play but it's up to the boss (coach Graham Arnold)," he said.
"I just came back last week and it was good to play 30 minutes.
"So whether it's five minutes or the full game I'd just be happy to play a part and I'll give it my best."
