The Gunners have announced a 25-player squad for their pre-season tour of Australia and China with the team set to arrive in Sydney on Tuesday morning ahead of their week-long stay in the Harbour City.

Lacazette, who last week signed for a club-record £52.7 million (A$90 million) from Lyon, has boarded a plane bound for Sydney with his new Premier League side and manager Arsene Wenger.

The French international striker joined the Gunners' other summer signing, Bosnia-Herzegovina international Sead Kolasinac, with both new signings expected to play their first games for the club on the tour.

German star Ozil has also been included in Wenger's travelling party along with France striker Giroud despite rumours linking him with a move away from the Emirates.

Fellow stars Theo Walcott, Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Pe Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny are also travelling.

Kieran Gibbs, Wojciech Szczesny, Carl Jenkinson and Mathieu Debuchy will also not make the trip to Australia with all four expected to leave the club this off season while Lucas Perez is also staying behind as negotiations continue with Deportivo La Coruna.

Rob Holding, Calum Chambers and Hector Bellerin have also been given an extra break after the Euro Under-21 Championships.

The Gunners will take on A-League champions Sydney FC at ANZ Stadium on Thursday night before taking on Western Sydney Wanderers at the same ground on Saturday night (both LIVE and EXCLUSIVE on SBS VICELAND).

The club will also hold an open training session for fans on Friday at ANZ Stadium.

Arsenal will fly to China at the end of their Australian tour for matches against Bayern Munich and Chelsea.
